Meet three of our advisers from the team - waiting for your call
Bruce is a Partner within the practice and has been a General Practioner in the Financial Services Industry for over 35 years. He started advising in 1984 with Legal & General and was subsequently a founder member of Bankhall in 1994. He then decided to become directly authorised with the Financial Services Authority in 2004 and started the Practice in its current format. He has been at the same office in Hamworthy since 1985.
Bruce is based and has lived in Poole since the 1960's where he is a prominent member of the community. He was a school Governor for 15 years and has been an active supporter & sponsor of Hamworthy United FC for over 30 years. He has previously held the office of Chairman and is currently the President, a Director & Trustee at the club.
Bruce has been married to Sue since 1975 and has two grown up children and five grandchildren.
After leaving college, Henry initially started his career in Banking with Natwest. He started in Carmarthen, Wales and then moved to London where he eventually became a lending manager dealing with large corporate clients in the city at 15 Bishopsgate. In 1985, he decided to leave the bank to set up his own business in financial services. He has worked over the years as a consultant and manager for a number of companies including Guardian Royal Exchange, Legal & General and Sun Life.
Being Welsh, Henry's great love has always been rugby and he was a member of London Welsh and NatWest rugby teams. He stopped playing at the age of 31 and decided to take up golf - trying to improve his game ever since without much success!
Henry joined the team at Scammell Associates in 2008 and is authorised to advise on all the advice areas provided by the practice.
Andrew is a recent associate within the practice but has been in the Financial Services industry for over 20 years. He started in 1998 with Abbey Life then moved to Sun Life of Canada. In 2001 he became an Independent Financial Adviser with a National IFA network. He was there for over 10 years before joining a local directly authorised IFA company in Bournemouth for the last 7 years.
Andrew has been married to his wife Nikki for over 27 years and has three grown up children (but still awaiting grandchildren), together with a Jack Russell called Milo. His hobbies and pastimes include playing 5-a-side football, keeping fit down the gym and long walks with the family and his dog.
Andrew is authorised and experienced to give advice in all financial areas provided by the practice and looks to help clients increase their wealth, as well as protecting their assets and loved ones. He prides himself on being friendly, honest & open with clients, and to help them achieve their aims, needs and objectives within the holistic planning arena.
